General Service

1. What areas do you service?

We proudly serve Amana (7 villages), Atkins, Belle Plaine, Conroy, Hartwick, Keystone, Ladora, Marengo, Parnell, Victor, Vinton, Watkins & Williamsburg. If you’re unsure whether you’re in our service area, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to check.

2. What days is my trash pickup?

Pickup days vary by location. Please contact our office for your correct scheduled collection day.

3. What time should I have my trash out?

All trash and recycling should be placed curbside the night before.

Billing & Payments

1. How often will I be billed?

Billing is offered either Monthly or Quarterly. Monthly billing is handled with a card saved on your account, that will be charged your monthly rate automatically on the 1st of each month for residential customers only.

2. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, credit/debit cards, online payments and autopay.

3. Where do I send my payment?

You can mail your payment to PO Box 344 Marengo, IA 52301 or you can place in the blue drop box at our office (across from recycling center on Court Ave.).

4. What happens if I miss a payment?

Late payments may result in a late fee and/or interruption of service. Please contact us if you need assistance—we’re happy to work with you.

Trash Guidelines

1. What items are not allowed in regular trash?

Hazardous materials such as chemicals, paint, batteries, tires, and electronics are not permitted. Please contact us for proper disposal options or visit your counties landfill website.

2. Is there a weight limit for trash cans?

Yes, for safety reasons, carts should not exceed 50 pounds.

3. What should I do if my trash was missed?

If your pickup was missed, please contact us within 24 hours and we will make arrangements to resolve the issue.

Recycling

1. Do you offer recycling services?

We sure do! Recycling carts are 95-gallons with a yellow lid to assure you don’t mix it up with your household trash. We pick up bi-weekly and offer a calendar (on our website) for your town to keep track of pickup dates. To set up this service for an additional monthly fee, please contact Customer Service.  

2. What can I put in my recycling bin?

Accepted items typically include paper (no wrapping paper), cardboard, plastics, and aluminum cans. Please check our recycling guidelines for a full list.

Containers & Equipment

1. Do you provide trash bins or carts?

Yes, we provide carts for most customers but not all. Sizes of carts may vary depending on your address.

2. What if my cart is damaged or stolen?

Please contact us right away. We will repair or replace damaged carts as needed. Fees may apply for carts damaged by customers.

3. Can I have 2 garbage carts?

Absolutely! Call Customer service at 319-642-3325 to add an extra cart to your account for an additional monthly fee.

Holidays & Delays

1. Do you pick up on holidays?

Service may be delayed due to major holidays. We only change our service schedule for Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas. Please check our website and Facebook page for updates.

2. What happens during bad weather?

Severe weather may delay service. We will communicate any changes via our website and Facebook page.

Additional Services

1. Do you offer bulk item pickup?

Yes, we offer bulk item pickup for items like furniture and appliances. Please call our office for pricing and the list of items we can collect curbside. All items must be paid for over the phone when scheduling.

2. Can I schedule a dumpster rental?

Absolutely! We offer a variety of dumpster sizes for residential and commercial use. Please visit the “Dumpster Rental” tab on our website for more information.

3. Can we move our dumpster?

Please leave dumpsters where our driver places them. This will assure we are able to get to them when dumping or picking up.

You can start or stop service by contacting our office. We’ll guide you through the quick and easy process.

2. How do I update my account information?

Please call or email us to update your contact or billing information.
